Multi-Speciality Camp [29th October 2006]

Second Free Multi-Speciality Medical Check-up Camp was organized in the memory of Sardarni Rajpal Kaur Cheema on 29 October 2006 at Mata Harnam Kaur Community Development Centre, Mohalla - Gurunanak Pura, Bassi Pathana, Fatehgarh Sahib (Dst).

The registration of patients was spread over five days, from 24 to 28 October 2006. There were about 1500 patients, under different category for registration. Out of these 1200 patients who were attended to by 20 Specialists Doctors from Cardiology, Eye, ENT, Medicine, Urology, Gastrolgy, Paediatric, Gynaecology, Ortho and Dermatology under the supervision of Dr. S. Verma MD, Medical specialist Civil Hospital, Patiala.

Eye Camp No. 2 [March 25 to April 9, 2006]

On 25th March OPD Camp was held at MHKCDC, Bassi Pathana under the personal supervision of Dr. Sukhi Boparai & his team of five Specialists. Trust had decided to adopt the "PHACO" cold laser technology for cataract removal, which were carried out at Dr. Boparai's Clinic in Patiala.

Detection and Continued Treatment for Anaemic Girl Children (Dr. K.P.S Sandhu)
The First Anaemic Detection Camp was held in October 2005 in which over 120 girls in the age group of 10-15 years participated. 75 girls were detected to be seriously to moderately anaemic. This group of 75 girls having anaemic condition are being monitored on monthly bases by qualified Doctors and free medicines are being given by the Trust at MHKCDC Bassi Pathana. 17 girls have recovered from anaemic condition so far.

Blood Donation Camp
In association with the local Blood Donors Society of Bassi Pathana, we regularly participated and extended support for the following Blood Donation Camps .

  On 14 Jan. 2006, the camp was organized with PGI team and 127 units were donated.
  On 8th April, 107 units of blood were collected. Annual camp will be held in July 2006.

The Trust's Manager, Mr. Ajay Malhotra was identified and awarded a prize by Rotary and Blood Bank Society and Resource Centre, Sector 37, Chandigarh on 13th of June 2006 at Chandigarh.

Pulse Polio Drops Camp
On 9th April 2006 and 21st May 2006 Polio Drop Camps were conducted and supported by the Trust at MHKCDC Bassi Pathana for giving polio drops to children under the age of 5 years.
