MBCT DIABETES - B.P. AWARENESS & WOMEN EMPOWERMENT ROADSHOW nr. 58th
At Village KHALASPUR 7TH February 2009 7am to 10am

Matter:  MBCT holds Diabetes Awareness Road-shows every month in 8 to 10 villages, out of the 135 villages adopted by the TRUST. Today is the 2nd such camp in the month of February 2009, held at ELEMETARY SCHOOL, KHALASPUR FGS. THE TESTING IS DONE FREE BY MBCT.

“ CANCER RKO ” a Breast & Cervix Cancer Awareness project initiated with the support of MKC Trust England, was also carried out today at village Khalaspur (FGS).

MBCT Ladies Field officers lecture the women on this disease; leaflets are distributed and register them for Free Check up Camp. Once 40 persons are registered, MKC Trust is informed and they send their Mobile Cancer Bus equipped with Siemens Mammography machine for FREE Check Up.

Mr. Harjit Singh NRI from Fresno, California also attended the Roadshow, he is a former student of the school and has donated money for the development of the Govt. Ladpuri Elementary School.
